Electronic Design Engineer
Scribner Associates is a recognized leader in electrochemical instrumentation and software for research and development. We are looking for an Electronic Design Engineer with a wide range of skills and interests to join our product development group.
This multi-disciplined position, focused on new product development, requires analog and embedded design skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability and interest to follow a project through from concept to production. The candidate will have at least a BSEE degree or equivalent and at least two years of professional experience in a product development role.
Experience with analog and microprocessor-based hardware design is required. Embedded programming (using assembly language and C / C++) including high-speed DSP and host communications interface (USB, Ethernet) design experience are highly desirable. PCB layout, sensor design, power converter/power management, EMC testing, and military/space qualified design experience is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in product design and will have strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Some interaction with customers and product support required. This is a hands-on engineering design position that involves all phases of product development from product concept to completion. We are looking for a qualified and interested engineer to be an active part of our company. This individual can have a significant impact on our products and the future growth and direction of the company and will be compensated accordingly.
