While performing EIS measurements, is the sample geometric area considered by the software before showing the results?

Q: While performing EIS measurements, is the sample geometric area considered by the software before showing the results?

A: In ZPlot, the 'Setup | Cell...' screen has a Surface Area setting. If a value is entered, the data is scaled so that it is [Ohm*cm2].

This value defaults to "1". If the value is 1, no scaling will occur, so the data will be total Ohms (unless your sample is 1cm2, in which case it would have the same Ohm and Ohm*cm2 values)
